2008 Summer Events for Kids at the Stowe Free Library

Babies & Toddlers - The following events are for toddlers-age 3 :

Mon, June 30, July 14, Aug. 11, 10 am- Story time with Molly.

Fri, July 18, 25, Aug. 1, 10:30 am - Green Mountain Music Together presents songs, fingerplays, instruments and fun. Babies welcome!

Pre/K and up-The following events are for kids ages 3 & up:

Wed. June 25, 2-3 pm - Lamoille County Nature Center presents "Get the Buzz on", a bee-all and end-all event all about bees! **Age 4 & up**

Wed. July 2, 10:30-11:15 - Story Hour - "Be Nice to Spiders".

Wed. July 16, 10:30-11:30 - Magic Show - Tom Joyce, that funny Magic Guy is back with his magic tricks and silly "buggy" jokes.

Wed. July 30, 10:30-11:30 - Puppet Show -Hand-in-Hand Puppet Theatre will present "Tales and Tunes", a musical puppet show.

Wed. Aug 6, 10:30-11:15- Story Hour - "I wish I were a butterfly".

School-age programs - The following events are for kids in grades 2 and up:

Thurs. July 3, 17, 31, 10:30-11:30 - Catch the Reading Bug program days - play buggy games, make creepy critters, learn about things that buzz, sting, hop, fly, and pollinate!

Tues. July 8, 22, Aug. 5, 12-12:30 - Bag lunch Read-a-loud. Bring a lunch and listen to stories read by Julie and Molly. Bring your own favorites to read aloud as well.

Teen Movie Night - middle school and up:

Tues. July 8, 22, Aug. 5, 5-7 pm. Pizza and cider will be served. Movies to be announced.
