2008 Summer Events for Kids at the Stowe Free Library
Babies & Toddlers - The following events are for toddlers-age 3 :
Mon, June 30, July 14, Aug. 11, 10 am- Story time with Molly.
Fri, July 18, 25, Aug. 1, 10:30 am - Green Mountain Music Together presents songs, fingerplays, instruments and fun. Babies welcome!
After School Program/Make pizza box solar ovens

On Wednesday, May 14, from 2:45-4 pm, the Lamoille County Nature Center will present an after-school program for kids in grades 2-5. Children will learn about the sun and solar energy. Then we'll get out our supplies and make our own solar ovens out of pizza boxes. These ovens are excellent for making nachos or s'mores. If the sun is shining, we'll give it a try! Please call the Stowe Free Library at 253-6145 to sign up for this fun program. Space is limited!
