IT'S THAT TIME!

STOWE FREE LIBRARY’S 35th ANNUAL BOOK SALE

BEGINS JULY 9, 2019

The Stowe Free Library’s 35th Annual Book Sale, sponsored by the Friends of Stowe Free Library, will begin on Tuesday, July 9th, at 9 AM.  The sale is held daily, dawn to dusk, through Sunday, July 28th. It will be held on the porch and grounds of the Stowe Free Library located at 90 Pond Street in the heart of the Village of Stowe.

There will be over 25 well marked categories of books available including, but not limited to, collectibles, antique books, coffee table items, and historical editions, as well as classics, history, travel, cooking, art, biography, gardening, and parenting and self-help. There will also be a selection of Large Print books, music CDs, audio books, and DVDs. The sale includes a separate area in the gazebo with children’s books, audio books, music CD’s, and DVD’s available.

The book selection is extensive, with displays restocked continuously throughout the sale, so be sure to visit the sale several times to find treasures that were missed or not on display the first, second, or third time around.

There is also a permanent ongoing book sale inside the Library, to the left of the main desk. This sale is open to the public during Stowe Free Library hours.

All books sold for the fundraiser are donations, over 10,000 donated annually, from community members.  All proceeds benefit the Friends of Stowe Free Library, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, supporting library resources, activities and programs. We made our move HOME!!

we are back in our space and ready

for visitors and patrons

We are so excited to be back in our space, the carpet is fresh as is the paint.  We cannot say "Thank You" enough to all the community members that have helped and support our staff, collection and patrons though this difficult time.  Your support, all the hugs and well wishes got the Librarians through some pretty rough spots- for that we are forever greatful!

Make sure to come and see us in the library-  check our our new lights and our new books :)
