FSFL meeting January 9, 2020
Present: Ronna Ziegel, Carol Stevens, Donna Pendorf, Kelley Spear,
Louise Thompson, Bonnie Knight, Sally Nolan, Peg Lackey, Sue Gilkey, Connie Carrino, Penny McGaughey
Minutes of September 9, 2019 were approved as read
Carol reported a balance of $187,120. Union bank money market balance is $5,053
The Flood fund balance is $109, 318. This will be used for book replacement by Cindy once insurance funds have been spent.
Membership— Connie Carrino
Connie thanked the members for their help getting the mailing of the giving letter together. She also commented on the results of the membership letter. We have 109 members to date. Many members gave a donation as well as their renewal dues.
All donations from both sources will be included in our general fund except for those earmarked by the donator to be used for flood replacement.

Set up 7/5 and 6

Margot will look into more 8 ft. tables
Cindy has been actively ordering books and going through thousands of titles.
Library of America classics have been ordered and Great Books is being looked at.
Approximately 2 years of work will be needed to complete the collection.
Louise is investigating saving The Friends’ scrap book which was damaged in the flood.
Next meeting is Thursday, March 5, 2020 at i3:30 and the annual meeting is May 14, 2020 at 4:00
